El Nino Southern Oscillation  El Niño has ended and the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) has returned to neutral. Climate models indicate ENSO will likely continue to be neutral until at least July 2024.

Rainfall  Rainfall outlook for Vanuatu from the 6th to 12th May is likely to be Above normal for Torba, Sanma,Penama, Malampa, and Shegfa provinces. Near normal rainfall is likely for Tafea Province.
